Features and quick guide

Temperature Scale Converter features

Temperature is not a simple multiplier; the tool handles offsets, scientific notation and negative values while showing a formula reference per row.

3-step quick guide

  1. 1
Choose °C, °F, K or °R as the source unit.
  2. 2
Enter a temperature and update every other scale instantly.
  3. 3
Copy a result and review its formula basis.

Frequently asked questions

Why not use one multiplier?

Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin and Rankine have different zero points, so conversion needs an offset and a scale.

How do K and °C differ?

Kelvin starts at absolute zero and differs from Celsius by 273.15; their temperature intervals have the same scale.

Are negative temperatures supported?

Yes. Enter values such as -40 and all scales update together.
